Details on the four and a half hour and extended day all-inclusive photo course.
Some of us are more technical than others and
with this in mind I'll keep the jargon and technical stuff at an appropriate level, after all when I think of the great photographers few of them have been technical experts.

I'm happy to answer your questions by phone or email in the months after the photography course - If we stay in contact you may recommend my digital photography course to friends so it works both ways!!
The course can be based at either your home or at my place in Ealing. Course days are Monday to Friday with Saturdays sometimes available. A 2pm start is possible during British Summer time to allow you to go to work in the morning.
We kick off with a tiny amount of theory rapidly followed by setting up and handling the camera (your own, or one of our Canon or Nikon DSLRs, or advanced compacts). During this time you will practice shooting with different settings and we'll examine the results on the camera lcd. Every aspect is covered in the bound course notes which are kept by the student.
Shooting practice then follows,
either out and about at maybe Kew Gardens (entrance included), by the River Thames at Kew, or around and about your own home and family. During this segment you will be advised on subject choice, watching backgrounds, camera position use of available light and, if appropriate, fill-in flash, along with depth of focus and composition all while keeping a sharp eye on the camera settings.

The final hour or so is back to base to learn the basics of post-shoot image processing using Photoshop elements 6 or 8 followed by colour and black and white printing techniques using the images you shot earlier.
All courses are adapted to the students experience and individual requirements.
A £30.00 non-refundable deposit payable on all courses.
Courses go ahead irrespective of weather which can provide great photo opportunities!!
If 48 hours or more notice given of postponement this amount can be credited against a re-booking.
